Max Mackey, lead vocalist/guitarist for Peak2Peak & the Max Mackey Band, returns to The Local Boulder. “Solo shows are an opportunity to strip down sonically and play the music differently,” says Max. “I get to explore my voice and allow a vulnerability in playing that comes from a nowhere-to-hide space.” Playing an assortment of covers (Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, Neil Young) and originals too, Max’s solo shows are intimate, expressive, and make for a damn great time.
